Single flower balsam is a flowering plant originally native to East Asia, where it thrives in temperate environments. While it is endemic to this region, single flower balsam has also been introduced and cultivated in other parts of the world, extending its presence beyond its native range. Its cultivation status is established, yet it does not appear to be widespread globally. Even so, the versatility of single flower balsam allows it to adapt to various non-native habitats within suitable climatic zones.
