Euryops pectinatus
Grey-leaved euryops
The grey-leaved euryops is a perennial shrub with hairy, gray-green leaves that perfectly highlight its vivid yellow flowers. The daisy-look–alike can bloom up to five centimeters wide and gave the plant its genus name, Euryops, which is Greek for “large eye.” The plant is deer-resistant while its flowers are sources of nectar for bees and butterflies.
Euryops virgineus
River resin bush
River resin bush is found in South Africa's western and southern coastal areas. Its deep yellow flowers bloom from February to June and attract pollinators like bees and butterflies. The plant also has medicinal properties and the resin was once used to seal canoes.
Euryops chrysanthemoides
African bush daisy
The african bush daisy is an evergreen shrub that is native to Southern Africa. It is commonly referred to as the "Daisy Bush", "Paris Daisy", and "Golden Daisy Bush". It grows between 15 cm and 51 cm in height and requires full sun. This plant should not be watered very frequently when it is cultivated as a houseplant.
Euryops acraeus
Mountain euryops
Euryops acraeus, the mountain euryops, is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family Asteraceae, native to the Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa. It is a dwarf, rounded evergreen shrub growing to 30 cm tall and wide, with silver-blue leaves and masses of yellow composite flowers in spring and summer. The Latin specific epithet acraeus means "dwelling on high ground". Reflecting its rocky mountainous habitat, in cultivation this plant requires full sun and very sharp drainage, preferably in an alpine garden. It has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
