How to Propagate Widgeonweeds?
Widgeonweeds can be propagated mainly by seed sowing and division. Key factors for successful propagation include proper light exposure, suitable temperature ranges, and a suitable aquatic or waterlogged soil medium. Special considerations must be given to maintaining adequate water levels and preventing desiccation of seeds. Propagation can be somewhat challenging due to environmental sensitivity. To propagate, collect seeds, sow them in water-saturated soil under full sunlight, and maintain temperatures of 10-25°C. For division, gently separate roots in the spring or autumn and replant immediately in an appropriate substrate.
