How to Plant Sarcobatus ?
The sarcobatus genus requires well-drained soil, full sun exposure and moderate watering. When planting, prepare the area with loosened soil to facilitate root expansion. Dig a hole twice as wide and equal in depth to the plant's root ball, place the plant, then backfill the hole, firming the soil gently. Initial watering should be thorough. Care must be taken as specific species within the genus may have their specific requirements. Use mulch to maintain soil moisture, but avoid the plant stem to prevent rotting.
