Sutera is commonly propagated through cuttings or seeds. Key factors are warm temperatures, high humidity, and a well-draining soil mix. Semi-hardwood cuttings in early summer or seed sowing in spring under a light covering of soil work well. It's moderately easy to propagate sutera, with the main challenge being the maintenance of consistent moisture levels during root establishment. To propagate by cuttings: 1) Take 4-6 inch cuttings from the tip. 2) Remove lower leaves, dip the cut end in rooting hormone. 3) Plant in a moist potting mix, cover with a plastic bag to retain humidity. 4) Place in bright, indirect light at 20-24°C. 5) After 2-4 weeks, when roots form, harden off and transplant.
