Description

Lace aloes comprise of small genus of just one species. They are succulent evergreen perennials with highly attractive stripped leaves and almost fluorescent, erect inflorescence. The name comes from the Latin adjective 'aristatus' which means "bristly" and refers to the lacy edges of the foliage.

Aloe Aristata Green Pearl is a variety of Aloe aristata known for the uniform arrangement of its foliage. This arrangement shapes this variety into a neat star-like form. Other varieties of this species do not grow into such a neat shape. Aloe Aristata Green Pearl is named for its many white spots that look like a galaxy of stars and planets.

Lace Aristaloe aristata leaves are emerald green and covered with white dentate bumps. In environments with insufficient light, its leaves will become thin. Lace Aristaloe aristata is superbly adaptable to different environments and is suitable for outdoor planting. Proper shading is needed in the summer or the plant will dry out, turn dark brown, or blacken.
