It is an annual plant that reaches a size of 5 to 25 cm tall, woody. Simple stem, from thin to thick. 3 to 13 cm leaves; thin spine, moderately hispanic; leaflets in 6-14 pairs; blades of oblong to obovate-oblong flakes, 3-15 × 2-7 mm, usually glabrous, occasionally sparsely covered with trichomes, almost symmetrical base.
