Species of Cleistocactus

Silver torch
Silver torch is a little columnar cactus with white fluff on its trunk. This plant is native to Bolivia's high regions and has received the Royal Horticultural Society's renowned Award for Garden Merit. It is hazardous to people and animals if consumed.

Golden rat tail
The golden rat tail (Cleistocactus winteri) has a beautiful barrel covered in luscious, delicate spines, lending an appearance more similar to a spiky zucchini than a cactus. A well-cared-for specimen can grow as long as 1.8 m and display 8 cm wide pink flowers when pampered.
