Alluaudia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Didiereaceae. Spines are arranged around the leaves. There are six species, all endemic to Madagascar. Most occur in the southwestern subarid forest-thicket vegetation of the island.

Didierea is a genus of succulent flowering plants in the family Didiereaceae. The two known species are endemic to Madagascar, where they are found in the spiny forest–thicket ecosystem.
Portulacaria
Portulacaria is a small genus comprised of a handful of succulent plants, some of which reach the size of large shrubs. Several species are planted ornamentally, most notable among them being Elephant Bush (P. afra). Some portulacaria are also cultivated as bonsais.
