Pronephrium gymnopteridifrons
Pronephrium gymnopteridifrons is a medium-sized species of creeping subtropical fern that grows in tropical and subtropical mountain forests, preferring to be near a water source. Its fronds are very plain, with loose rows of broad, lightly rippled leaves that resemble feathers. It varies its reproductive strategy year by year, reproducing via spores one year and sprouting from its rhizome the next.
