Species of Ice plant

New zealand ice plant
Endemic to New Zealand, as suggested by the common name, the new zealand ice plant is a trailing succulent found in coastal areas, such as cliffs, beaches, and estuaries. Thanks to its drought tolerance and extremely long flowering season (from spring to autumn) this plant is often used in gardens as a groundcover, particularly in dry habitats.
