Kadam-seed plant
Kadam-seed plant is a long-stemmed climbing plant that is used to produce dye. Oil is also extracted from the plant's seeds. Kadam-seed plant (Hodgsonia macrocarpa) is named macrocarpa or large-seeded in Latin for its huge seeds. It is named hodgsonia for Brian Houghton Hodgson, a Himalayan resident who hosted the botanists that named it.
