Threeleaf arrowhead is a plant species native to extensive freshwater wetland areas across East, South, and Southeast Asia. It is well-established in temperate to tropical regions, extending from the Himalayas to the Far East. While threeleaf arrowhead is indigenous to these major regions of Asia, it has been introduced to islands in the Pacific as well as to Eastern Europe, where it has adapted to local aquatic ecosystems.
